Birthing Under the Sun: Thriving with a Doula
About Us
The owners of Thriving Doula and Soleil Doula Co. have joined together to create the childbirth education course that they feel is needed within their community.
Nala and Jaden did not get their doula training together but they did meeting during their Lamaze Childbirth Education Instructor course together. It was like they known each other all of their lives and luckily they lived in the same area and when these two minds got together "Birthing Under The Sun: Thriving With a Doula" was created.
What to Expect
The class includes 3 sections to mentally, emotionally and physically prepare you for childbirth.
The first section covers the stages of labor and all of the changes your body will go through during childbirth.
The second section is when it is time to get more crafty and really look within yourself to see who you have become during your pregnancy.
*clay/paint and tools will be provided *
The third section is where we get together and get moving with different labor positions.
*a birth ball and yoga mat are recommended but if that in unaccessible to you, please reach out to one of us we may have extras available for in person course.*

In person classes are on Saturdays bi monthly from 11:45 am -5 pm with 15 minute breaks in between each section.
Virtual classes are self paced.
